  1. I am under the understanding that if a car was built/manufactured with a cat it must have one:taped:. Rules for MOT's have had subtle changes over the last few years. I am also under the impression that noisey exhausts are also being targeted.
  2. I'm sure someone on the forum had their rear glass out some weeks ago, with a photo. Can't remember what it was all about though:shrug:. Must be some info somewhere.
  3. It may sound silly but make sure your brake fluid is topped right up:idea:, honest this really has caught out a few!
  4. Please tell me more, just done the mos a couple of weeks ago, quite a change!
  5. I got mine repaired at ALTERSTART Barnstaple, good service and not too expensive, give them a call, they will repair your old one (then you know its the right one). there number must be in the phone book.
  6. Have you checked the diodes (individually) ?
  7. I had a prob with one of the diodes breaking down:taped:, got a new diode plate fitted and everything was OK:innocent:
  8. There's also a great little device I got from ebay, you just plug it in to your cig lighter and it give you the volts reading as you drive. Maybe not the finest but as a quick check it works fine.
  9. They both got lost in cyberspace! Replace the fuse (clean the contacts if needed). Check the Alt on a test bench (not in situ).
  10. Two things that may help. (not in situ).
  11. The green bot is on the bulbs from Toyota (and so it should be for the price).
  12. You can get the bulbs from your Toyota store at about £5 each:taped: Best to take in a pattern though as there are a few different ones in the whole system.
  13. Just went out with the phone. Before and after, can you guess which is which
