i think prices will not go up for a long time due to recession people losing jobs , then theres insurance and running costs etc, the car market is on its arse its a nightmare trying to sell bloody awesome if you are a buyer plus hard times have it alot of people financially. as an example a car can be up for sale for £8000 give it 6 to 8 months the seller might drop to 7- 7500, someone makes an offer at 6 to 6500, most sellers will be very tempted knowing that car could spend another few thousand months on the driveway:giveup: also there is the breaking route we all know how that works lol there are the few cars which sell at full price but it all depends on how much that buyer wants your car etc the funny thing is most people will know deep down how much effort someone has put into building their car and still want to pay next to nothing or another way of explaining your selling your car at £10000 i bet most people would want to put down only between 7000 to 8000 or even a cheeky 6500 and yes it is an insult to most people because you know you are going to say wtf my car has had a full rebuild and polybush suspension turbo respray etc and i spent over 20,000 grand but at the end of the day the buyer will only pay what he has to offer anyway my guess is another 2 to 3 years before prices to start going back up
