  1. Not sure what a strainer is yes he used the correct fluid and amount I believe. Maybe it's just time for a new runabout.
  2. Hi all thought there might be someone here with a bit of knowledge who might be able to help me. Right I have a piece of shit daily Nissan Almera n16 2.2 dci, recently it's been making a bit of a weird noise which I Googled and decided that it was probably the diff, any way as the car is soo shit and not worth anything, it's not worth doing major repairs, so I got a mechanic out just to change the gearbox oil to see if it would help at all or maybe even prolong the life of the car a little. But since the oil change I've been having problems changing gear (once warm), half the time it won't engage without grinding :/ before the change it was fine. Any ideas why this is happening since the oil change?

  4. Rang the insurance company this morning and set the agreed valuation at 12k. Still paying less than last year
  5. Only 6.5k, didn't realise how much they had appreciated. thanks people, will ring the insurance company in the morning, I wonder how much it'll affect my insurance premium :/
  6. We've got a wedding this day so won't make it I'm afraid
  7. Hello, my insurance is up for renewal soon and with the price of supras rising I have no idea what mine is worth anymore, so no idea what to set the agreed valuation at. So its a 93 jspec tt auto with 103000kms on the clock (about 64k miles) only a few simple mods: xxr wheels, blitz exhaust, dump valve and induction kit. Other than that pretty standard. Rough value? Thanks
  8. So you should nah it needed washing in a serious way anyway.
  9. Do you realise I'm 7 months pregnant and washed my car today especially for this by the February meet i'll probably be too fat to fit behind the wheel
  10. Thanks guys, got one ordered, that's much easier
  11. I need one new slider pin for my front brake caliper. I rang Toyota, they said they could get one but I'd have to come in, order it there and pay then go away and come back once it's arrived as it's a specialised part. So they want me to drive half an hour there and then back again, then again to pick it up a few days later, such a hassle. Can I just order one from somewhere and have it delivered to my house? Plus the supra is my only car, I'm trying not to drive it to much until the brake caliper is fixed. Any ideas?
  12. Is that the only part number I need to replace the pin? Is the rubber included or is that a separate part?
