  1. Yeah absolutely, I'm going to put it up this weekend.
  2. Cheers lads. I was thinking that myself and I've actually had a few people message me over it already. I suppose the difficulty is finding something thats not rusty or one thats not ruined with poor quality parts. I think i'll put it up on pistonheads tonight with more details. Hopefully someone will get as much enjoyment out of it as I have.
  3. Hey lads, I'm looking for some help here. Basically something has caught my eye recently and I'm trying to get an idea if I can buy it if I sell the Supra and GTR. I'm trying to establish a rough price for what I would get for the Supra. Bearing in mind, I'm in Southern Ireland and as some of you know, we have to pay VRT (Vehicle Registration Tax) to register a car on irish plates and it would probaly cost atleast €6k to register a car similar to mine, but, if I get a sterling price I can work it from that and add the vrt price. So spec, 1994 Sz factory manual 2 owners (including myself) 139k kms Made 323bhp @0.9 bar 2JZGTE vvti conversion Genuine BBS LM 18X9 18X10 ISF discs with RR 4 pot brembo conversion Evo 5 rear brembo brakes W58 with stage 2 competition clutch TRIAL titanium catback Koyorad radiator Fmic Walbro fuel pump TRD shocks and springs K9 alarm system I can't really think of much other than i did the timing belt, water pump and a full servicing including 4 new discs and pads last year. I suppose bad points, the bootlid is off another car as mine was damaged and its bubbled on the usual spots. The rest of the car is 100% rust free and tbh, very clean underneath for a car of its age. The arches etc are perfect. Has the original mats etc inside. Heres some photos. I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some feedback. Thanks
  4. Hi lads, I'm after a bootlid but the issue is that I'm based in Southern Ireland so i'd either need it posted or need it to be in ireland so I can pick it up. Idealy, I'm after a rust free black one, I am aware that stuff isn't as easy got these days but no harm asking. I'd be willing to take one in a different colour once it has no rust. Thanks
  5. I had the car dyno'd last week Its a 1994 manual(W58) SZ running an aristo swap 2JZGTE VVTi. Still using auto ecu locked in "D". 6. Cheers! No nothing else planned. Although we did a design for offset dowels to properly fit evo calipers onto the backs of N/A single pot brakes. Just trying to see who can making them in billet.
  7. Just a few more points to add, The calipers will fit under 18" wheels but may require some grinding around the outside. The oem supra brake lines bolt up with no issue as both use m10 banjo bolts. The range rover calipers are nearly the same width as UK spec brakes. Ive found these to be far superior in every way to the stock twin pots even with the OEM master cylinder.

  10. Did several designs on CAD and 3d printed different types of brackets. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/24.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/25.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/48.jpg After we were happy with the fitment, we then we had them made in 12mm s275 steel. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/26.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/27.jpg Went and bought genuine brembo pads. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/28.jpg
  11. Hi lads and lassies, I taught I'd share a BBK with you all that myself and my mate designed. My had the small twin pot brakes and I wanted to put a bigger set on. I priced the SRT8 brake kit and noticed the front calipers alone were nearly €1k + delivery. Then I had to factor in pads, discs and the adaptor kit itself. Plus I wasn't too happy over having to cut a big notch out of the caliper. Anyway I noticed that 4 pot brembo calipers from a 2004 Range Rover TDV8 were quite reasonable. I was also happier going for the 4 pots they were as big as the 6 pots from the SRT8. There is plenty of Range Rovers in ireland and the UK so calipers can be easily got. I picked up a set from my local breakers. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/5.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/6.jpg Here is the cost breakdown. Prices can obviously vary. Calipers -> €150-€300 Pads -> €50 Isf discs -> €190 Adapter plate -> €200 Brake fluid + new banjo washers -> €20 I've plenty of photos on Imgur but I seem to have an issue embeding them onto this site so I'll upload them seperately in the next post if needs be.
  12. So the verdict. The brakes are much better. I havent pushed them at all because i want to bed them in correctly but overall im very happy with the result. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/39.jpg
