  1. Thanks mate. So I don't need different wiring harness with this pump then?
  2. Was looking at these on mvp. Are they different to jdm? Na i will most likely buy from mvp or whiffbitz as I found them good in the past. Well Damien between work & kids I've not much time for play now lol. Are these pumps plug & play? Where did you get yours?
  3. Jeez it's been a while  What fuel pump do you lot recommend for a bpu? Car was parked up for a few years but started fine last week to come out the garage for a wash & clean. Now after a week back in the garage it's a non starter because fuel pump has failed. I was hoping to have the time to get her back on the road for the better weather. Anyway I was looking at the walbro 400lph pump but is this over kill? Also looking at the walbro 255 but looking at specs I think stock pump flows more than the walbro 255.
  4. Just order timing belt kit + water pump, the kit comes with tensioner & guide pulley. Also order aux belt + tensioner & it would be worth getting a new crank pulley while your at it. You'll also need coolant as you will be doing the water pump.
  5. Yeah just a multimeter as i don't have a scope. I was just testing the signal wire from speed sensor in gearbox & hand turn the rear wheel. When i do this i get voltage fluctuating between 0-11v then after the speed converter test it there & i'm getting similar readings. My converter is down about 1 foot away from the speed sensor, it's about the size of a sim card & has an input, output, positive & negative. This is the first time i've done any work with these converters, just not 100% with them.
  6. Ah ok i was thinking it was just a resistor type thing. So even if it was faulty would you think it might still give a voltage reading?
  7. Has anyone ever tested a failed speed converter? I'm getting a fluctuating voltage both sides of my speed converter but no speed reading in the car. But here's the strange part when i test the speed converter for resistance it's showing open circuit. Now i'd expect open circuit on a failed converter but why am i seeing voltage both sides?
  8. Latest reports suggest the automaker wants the FT-1 to match a 2,900-pound body with a 485-hp powerplant. http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2014/6/17/Toyota-FT-1-Comes-to-Cars-and-Coffee-Irvine-7720936/
  9. Mullingar area 6 speed tt bpu.
  10. I agree, 400 bhp isn't enough. The mkiv had 326 bhp nearly 21 years ago. So we get 74 extra bhp after 21 years of evolution hmmm. IMO it should have atleast 550 bhp but tbh i don't think the supra will be back, i do think toyota will bring a sports car into production but don't think it will wear the supra badge.
  11. As the title says, but roll on detroit motor show so we can find out if there's any truth in this http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/06/toyota-supra-detroit-auto-show/
  12. This should make a very nice set up for the road.
  13. Yeah i'm getting that error code since i lost my speedo & all my warning lights work. Thanks for the diagram & help, i will print it & look into this again at the weekend.
  14. Hope this isn't a repost but if it is it deserves it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQJ2jmNADes&feature=endscreen&NR=1
