  1. I was actually very close to buying one in auction last month, been looking at these for a while. From what I recall, the performance pack *plus* utilises the forged pistons from the then new SLS AMG, a lightweight crankshaft, new connecting rods and a new engine management system, along with LSD and other carbon goodies. I've driven quite a few of them (standard, performance pack, straight through pipes etc) and they are an absolute blast to drive, I've not driven many cars that rival the roar of that 6.2 litre V8 - and I drive for a living! Although the interior may be dated, Id be looking at a later facelift example, 2012-2014, not only do they look meaner, interior is slightly improved and the gearboxes were also revised post 2011. I don't think there will ever be a version of these engines on the production line again, and its a real shame. If you have some cash to splash, you wont regret spending on a good example of a C63. Just bare in mind, most of these have had a hard life for obvious reasons, so would be best to experience it first hand before taking the plunge - but as long as its been weel looked after, doesn't mean you cant join in on the fun
  2. I fitted mine perfectly between the number plate lights, you can see my thread for more info if need be: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?328635-Rear-View-Camera-Fitted-) Been very happy with it and it works wonders. I would say the cameras nowadays are of a bit better quality, I suggest going for something with Infra-Red to help with the night vision
  3. Its different...which was the point of it. I've never been a big fan of the GT300 bodykit, its just silly wide IMO, front lights get lost and the curves just don't sit 100% right - makes it look like an actual squashed fish could definitely do with shaping and refining as it does have potential to look lovely. My favourite parts of the car - interior retrim, wheels (Actually really like these - bar the turbo fans ) and LED indicators/rear light. The wrap is not something I'd ever do on my own car, but for the club, I'd say its quite suiting and I think it looks alright for what it is. Enginewise - BPU atleast? Would've been nice to see some of the work actually carried out too...
  4. Probably one of the only stock supras I've seen and stopped to look at, very tidy

    Reg comps

That's great news, keep a keen eye and a wad of cash ready
  6. The soundsystem is the only real tasking thing above 100 amps, unless you are running some very heavy electrics.
  7. It was on there when I purchased the car back in 2009, though it never saw many miles since my purchase. I can also confirm it was given a through clean through on the service carried out before going single turbo.
  8. I can take some more photos when i get back from work tonight. The fins are on the whole quite straight, there are a few that could do with a bit of adjusting, but nothing that would impede performance at all
