  1. Ok, raising boost will do the job then.. Mapper was worried how much boost the rods will hold, correct that 2jz-gte hold up to 30psi???
  2. Quick question, Supra is mapped on 570hp, @1,4bar... Like to get more power on stock engine (with hks cams 264) Last dragrace day is coming, next weekend thats why... Mapper would try methanol, But isn't it better to "just" raise the boost to 1,6/1,7bar? Or would you guys say, best way raise boost and methanol.. Will not exceed the ""save"" 650hp level... Methanol will he mixed with the fuel
  3. Old blocked radiator? Bad waterpump?

    Scattershield

A blanket with sfi 9.1 is also ok! No one a nice secondhand shield for sale? Titan doesn't make them anymore...
  5. Hello, Looking for a scattershield, Cause the car is getting into 11 seconds @ 1/4mile...
  6. Or buy a facelift 6speed slave-cinder, it has a smaller bore, so more clutch travel...
  7. Got Dba slotted with hawk hp+ pads, brakes very nice no fading when braking a lot. Next time I will take stock ones with Hp+ pads to check the difference...
  8. @Chris, It sure looks like hks cams Its says hks in the cast and t083 has been drilled in intake cam and t084 in the exhaust cam, wich says 264cams when I checked hks website... Bought them second hand, they look very fresh... I have to say I use wider feelerblades now, so they are as wide as the cam itself. First I used a bit smaller and then 0,06 was like 0,10... I have taken new feelerblades cause the small ones where like; 0,05-0,10-0,15-0,20 and the little bit wider ones where like; 0,02-0,03-0,04-0,06-0,08-0,10-0,12 ---- =cam -- =first feelerblade ---- =cam ---- =second feelerblade set
  9. Ok, I knew I should re-shim, but sometimes I see people who only had to re-shim 4-10 shims, not all 24, so I thought this was a bid strange...
  10. Cannot be its too cold outside?
  11. He there, just pre-fitted hks 264 cams, torqued as the manual says.. Intake cam clearence between 0,04-0,06mm , exhaust between 0,10-0,12mm. Should be intake 0,20 +/- 0,03 , exhaust 0,30 +/- 0,03, Is this normal that all shims need replacement? Had stock jspec noks in before...
  12. Ok thanks for the tip!
  13. He guys, anyone experience with a degree wheel to time the cams? Have seen some degree wheels at summit racing, 9,10,11inch, what is the ideal size? Or are there some traders here who sell the right one?
  14. I have the japspeed version, fits excellent! Very good welding!
  15. Had the same on bpu with my os-gikken in 5th gear it slips, clutch friction plates has worn out... Maybe it happens cause car has more resistance at high speed...
