No its all standard suspension wise, i cant see any evidence of tyre rub. I think i will have to go through and check all the wiring! -

Running issue linked to check engine light!
Chrisbeast replied to Chrisbeast's topic in mkiv Technical
Hi, sorry I should have mentioned about fuel pump ecu following on from my post last year. I had pump ecu error code come up so in the end replaced pump ecu with brand new. The new ecu sadly made no difference car will only start & run properly depending on engine check light illumination! The same is the case with the old pump ecu too. -
Hi all. I have a running issue with my '93 jspec tt 6 which started out end of last year. I go to start car, turn ignition on and I've noticed the check engine and slip cont lights don't illuminate. If i then crank engine it'll start but just die after a few seconds. Where as if i just leave the ignition on for about four or five minutes the check engine and slip cont lights will illuminate and the car will then run perfectly. I'm quite stumped on this one, wondering if its an immobiliser problem? I have a Cobra 7925 control/siren with 1984 immobiliser. Any help on this would be great, regards Chris.

Evening all. My car died on me the other day after checking through the usual suspects i have narrowed the problem down to the fuel pump ecu. I have attached a pic of the ecu, after looking carefully the only thing standing out is the green block which looks to of popped/melted! Is there anyone on the forum who could repair this for me? Regards Chris.

How To: Valve Stem Seal Replacement
Chrisbeast replied to TLicense's topic in Technical Reference & FAQs
I recently replaced my valve stem seals using this how to, was excellent. I used Supertech seals. Heres a pic of new against old! On cold start up occasionally I would see heavy blue smoke also on acceleration although not so heavy. Car is spot on now. [emoji1] -
