  1. hahaha ive had this from people at work today. Still though, nice car...and its a coupe, the convertibles are the hairdressers choice
  2. Supra has now gone, I am now the owner an Audi TT Coupe
  3. Bump... Also just to add, I would consider doing a part ex or a swap for something like a convertible, or a golf GTTDI It would have to be a straight sap or your car plus cash my way as ive no money to put towards another car.
  4. Just to let you know, a full oil and filter change was done last week Asking price is now £6200 ONO, as I could do with a quick sale
  5. Cheers Jamie for info my bad! Mike, do you reckon you could edit my title so it doesn't saying 3.2 so it doesn't mislead people. Cheers
  6. Hiya Matt sorry for taking ages to reply, the bore size is 86.5mm
  7. Minor defects: Slight rust as shown in the pictures just above the driver’s side window sill. The alloys could do with a refurb as they are a little bit pitted. However, you may be able to find some products which will remove the black bits. Having done my research, to get the alloys looking brand new, your looking at paying just £40 per wheel, which isn’t bad I don’t think. Well I have been as honest as I possibly can so if your interested please feel free to get in touch. The asking price is £6200. I will accept close offers so please feel free. I am simply selling the car as I have owned it for 3.5yrs, and I have also just bought new property which I hope to use the money to develop it. Having said that, I would like a convertible of some sort so would consider doing a part ex or a straight swap, but it would have to be cash my way as I have no money to put towards another car. Please note, You may only test drive this car upon proof of valid insurance. The car is sold as seen without warranty. This really is a fantastic car and you will not be disappointed. 8. Toyota 3030cc BPU Twin Turbo Automatic For Sale PRICE REDUCED TO £6200 ONO - Unfortunately this car needs to sell as I need the cash Basic Info on the Car: Tax: Sept 2011 MOT: Oct 2011 Pre Owners: 6 Transmission: Automatic Year of car: 1994 Imported: 1997 Log book is present and full UK service history YOURS FOR £6200 O.N.O. As standard, this car comes with ABS, power steering, electric folding mirrors, traction control, air conditioning, climate control, plus driver and passenger SRS air bags. This model also came with factory-fitted limited slip diff, and Bilstein shock absorbers. However, this car has had some slight modifications. The following performance modifications have been made: 3030cc engine – The engine has been bored out and oversized Wiseco Pistons (86.5mm) have been inserted. For details on this further down. (Work carried out by Chris Wilson) Hybrid twin turbos: the stock twin turbos were upgraded by Turbo Dynamics with new steel internals, allowing them to run safely at much higher boost levels. Safe boost for stock turbos is generally said to be 0.9 bar, while these hybrids can run safely at 1.2 bar. Double-decat, allowing unrestricted airflow to the turbos. (Original de-cat will come with the car) 1.2 bar Chris Wilson restrictor ring, which keeps the boost level to a safe 1.2 bar. Blitz Nur Spec Type R stainless steel cat-back exhaust, with removal baffle. (The baffle can be taken out in a couple of minutes with a single screw. With the baffle out, the sound is incredible! With the baffle in, the car runs much quieter, which is ideal for long drives.) XS Power 3-row front-mounted intercooler, for keeping the air to the turbos cold. HKS Super Sequential Blowoff valve (SSQBOV), to dissipate excess boost when letting off the throttle or changing gear. It sounds great! Apexi induction system. (Check out the induction reviews: the Apexi system always comes up trumps.) Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator (FPR), with fuel pressure gauge. Fuel-cut defender (FCD). This modification raises the stock fuel cut mechanism to 1.25 bar. Spats strut brace. Walbro fuel pump. GReddy boost gauge. GReddy turbo timer. AEM AFR Gauge Derestricted Chris Wilson fast road brake pads. Goodridge braided racing brake lines. Full set of Goodyear F1 tyres 18-inch ASA rims, with diamond-cut spokes. UK glass headlights Clear Indicators Custom silver interior cabin, including dash and door panels. Levoc chrome and carbon fibre gear shifter. Black painted brake calipers with silver 'Supra' decals. Full Authentic Veilside bodykit (excluding spoiler as I prefer the original) Bits and Pieces This is a 1994 Japanese Supra, imported and first registered in the UK in 1997. At this time the speedo was converted from kilometres to miles. The car has done just shy of 90000 miles and I have the complete service history from the time of import. It has been well-maintained, with oil changes every six thousand miles. It has a clean HPI and had no accidents. The cam belt was changed at 56K miles when I bought the car, and again when I rebuilt the engine….more details on this further down. A new radiator was fitted around 3 years, so you wont have to worry about that either. The car has been fitted with a Category 1 Sigma S30 alarm system, and I have a certificate of installation. The alarm has remote central locking and supports remote start as an upgrade. Insurance is surprisingly cheap for such a fast car. I insure my car through Admiral Insurance. Where this car really excels is at medium speed. There are lots of cars that can get to 60 quickly. But beyond 60, the Supra pulls stronger and stronger. Even up to 100, 110, 120... The Supra still pulls so strong that you are forced into the back of your seat. An Impreza STI may keep up with the Supra up to 60, but beyond, it has no chance. The History During my ownership a lot of work has been carried out since I have purchased the car (engine rebuild and general service and maintenance). After 4 weeks of owning the car, I started having engine issues. To cut a long story short, I had melted Piston rings, I was experiencing detonation, an oil leak, basically it wasn’t looking to healthy. I ended up paying Chris Wilson a visit after being recommended to him by other Supra owners from the Owners Club. All work has been carried out by Chris Wilson and as most of you on here will know, his quality of work is outstanding. Chris rebuilt the engine from scratch (I haven't dared to add it all up but were talking around 8k I reckon - at least when I come to think about it!) I have receipts for ALL work carried out, along with a full history from the previous owner. It’s a leaver arch A4 full of receipts and photographs which Chris kindly sent me during the rebuild. Every seal, washer, hoselines has been replaced. Along with all the internals such the pistons, and camrods. The list goes on and on. It’s literally a new engine, and on the receipts all the parts are broken down, so its easy to see whats been replaced. The engine required to be bored out as the internals had been scored during detonation. So as a result the pistons are oversized, making the engine in effect a 3.03 Litre. All stuff that didn’t need to be replaced, has been replaced anyway, the reason being is it was much easier to do everything I could while the engine was out and future proofing the car; having spent all the money getting the engine perfect, the last thing id want is something else to go wrong. This includes all timing belts, fuel pump various sensors etc. Again, receipts for everything! There is very little in the engine that hasn’t been replaced. All original Toyota parts have been used as well. As I say, all receipts have been kept, from Toyota, Chris Wilson and all servicing. The last full fluid change was around 3 months ago at which the car also got new tires - Goodyear F1. When I bought the car the engine was done up with all chrome shiny bits, and all blue silicone hoses. After chatting with Chris Wilson, he advised me to replace all the silicone hoses with brand new Toyota rubber hoses, as the silicone ones are prone to splitting and are nowhere near as good as rubber hoses. Silicone hoses can slide off and are not as good as rubber ones. Hence why Toyota don’t use them. I found this problem after 1 week of owning the car, one of the silicone hoses that went to 1st turbo kept popping off! While I was rebuilding the engine, I also fitted an AFR gauge inside the car, this way if there was any issue to arise in the future, you would be able to get a ‘heads up’ from this dial. Basically its just another bit to help give you peace of mind having spent so much getting the car running perfectly. The car as it stands wants for nothing mechanically and is running superbly. Since the rebuild the car has been running perfect, and im also getting better fuel consumption. The suspension is fine as well. The rebuild took place two years ago and the car has run PERFECT. No problems what so ever! The turbos had been recently replaced by Turbo Dynamics (prior to my ownership) and I also have some paperwork from the previous owner (also a member on here - Dash Rendar), which includes the date the turbos were upgraded. While Chris had the car, he gave them a refurb and ensured they are still in good working order. The current BHP is around an estimated 410 at the flywheel. The car has not been on a rolling road under my ownership, but what with being an active member on here, as standard the twin turbo car has a bhp of 320ish and what with this car running BPU and uprated turbos, and being a 3030cc engine, based on other forum members rolling road results with the same spec, most are running around 415bhp. To safely get anymore you would be required to replace the twin turbos with a single. The stock auto box can safely handle up to 500bhp, above this you would need a manual conversion. But if you wanted to go down that route, your best getting on the Supra forum as there is a lot of good advice etc on there. Since under ownership the car runs on Shell Ultimate, or other super unleaded fuel if Shell isn't available. The car is available to view any time, and any more info you require just ask. As I say, its got complete history, and an A4 folder full of all the info you require. Im looking for £6500k for the car or a VERY near offer. The cars not advertised anywhere else yet as im not in a massive rush to sell, mainly due to the amount of money its had on it, and at the end of the day, im not going to get it back unless I sell it at 16k, which there is no chance Ill get that for it. Hence why im just trying to enjoy it while I still can. This engine is running sweet as a nut now thanks to Chris Wilson. Last time it had its MOT the car passed straight away with no advisories. Good job as well!!! The car is currently fully de-cat however I do have the original cat which will be sold with the car. 9. haha I like the title from 2 years ago '*Merged* The frequently reposted Audi/sand/porting thread! " sorry for the repost
  10. I agree it has to be a joke, but is funny either way!
  11. I got sent this link from a mate who's on another forum. Have a read at some blokes post! Surely no one is this stupid! LOL The replies are funny as well http://www.audiforums.com/m_693578/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm
  12. Well Good news...IT PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS! Spoke to the MOT place and they said the car has passed with flying colours. I said thats great and asked about the emissions and how it got on etc and he said that it flew through the emissions test and the reading was very low, even though it had no Cats in the car. So thats my car officially back on the road after over 1yr 2 months!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  13. Is there anything official that I can print out to back it up should they fail it. I shall have to check my log book then to see when the car was registered in the UK
  14. so is what your saying is that if the car is a 1995 or older and an import it is exempt. Or, is what your saying, is the car needs to be imported before 1995?
