  1. 1.2 bar used to be max for OEM 440cc injectors and Ceramics. Beyond that you're just pushing the EGT's higher. Probably worth getting the injectors cleaned...
  2. Probably one of the best examples of the breed left! GLWS - Sent from Mobile

Totally - I hope he does it next year...it would be a wonderful story/ending.

It was Sam's second year but the Speed-Up is still lacking - numbers and ability - so he was miles ahead of the other Speed-Up riders. The move to the better Kalax will provide him with equal machinery. Aprilia have invested in him for their MotoGP project (2017 he'll be in MotoGP) so he's going to have the right equipment to get the job done in '16. IF MM was trying to protect JL then THEY could have let DP passed both of them and not worried. DP makes the overtake and then overshoots the corner, giving the place back to MM. Why was MM tailgating JL and adding pressure if he wanted to just cruise home in 2nd/3rd why not just hang with DP and then everyone could say, clearly the Yamaha was faster. Its' this behaviour that leaves a very mixed view of what was going on. It was not MM's usual battling style, totally agreed, but, 2nd is better than falling off and taking JL with him and handing the championship to VR. Imagine if that had happened, all the VR fans would be delighted and still spouting venomous bile at the other riders/fans. That's the only thing I'm really clear on from this, VR fans are horrendous in their bullying and nasty behaviour.

It's all a bit rubbish. I would like to see Vale get a 10th title, and retire. It will be the best way to go. Maybe next year. JL truly needs to stop talking. I may like the 'ghost' helmet design and riding ability but that's it. MM needs to stop interfering. Dorna/FIM need to get their act together. VR needs to get faster in Quali. Too often he's chasing from behind and getting embroiled. Whilst the racing was great this year the politics and temperament of these riders/teams/organisers needs some adjustment. Even in Moto3 WTF was ONO doing taking points off of Kent FFS. Why was Kent being so poorly managed/advised on strategy especially around qualifying. Beggers belief. But very happy to see him take the title at the end. I've high hopes for Sam Lowes next year on a Kalax (as the Aprilia MotoGP test rider). Kent's second bite of the Moto2 apple needs to be much bigger. Redding on the Ducati should be interesting, it's been a hard season for him and the VDS team that hasn't run a MotoGP bike before this year. I think Honda's 2016 bike will have a better front end so I think Cal will have a better time too. And Bradders will do well...enough, he made Pol look ordinary which has been marvellous

I was gutted for Cal, I've yet to work out wtf happened on lap 1 as at one point he and Rossi were up to about 14/15 then he just disappeared again. not sure if he was on the spare bike or they fixed the race one. It's going to be an interested off season for MotoGp that's for sure. From the comments on the internet no one is going to watch anymore to see if Vale can come back and get the 10th next year. #everybodycalmthef##kdown.

I'm exhausted from watching that. Great racing, shame Dani accidentally ruined Marc's plans for the last 2 laps but in the end the guy with the most wins won the championship. Removing all the politics, 99 has ridden impeccably and 46 was on the defensive from mid season with that resurgence. Without the wet weather issues it could have been done and dusted already with the same result. No comment on my choice of helmet earlier this year.
  8. Then I shall watch your (self) limited information closely in future! Glad there is optimism in the factory. Seems like once they lick the harvesting/storage they'll make huge strides forward. The fun bit is they can pretty much bin this year's engine at the end of the year.
  9. FFS OMGZ Yeah Drivers Champ - Keke Rosberg.
  10. Not sure I get you here, Nico is the son of an ex-WDC and has been in the same junior teams as Lewis at times. They've been on the same path however Nico was able to self fund and Lewis needed a form of scholarship. McLaren decided to go for it and they won a WDC (nearly 2 but for poor mgmt choices in '07) and the rest is history. Nico chose to be a Williams test driver to get he F1 seat. Obviously Keke's history with the team played a part there. Then Merc come into the sport and want a German driver. They buy the remnants of Brawn, the car that has just won the WCC/WDC, Nico goes there fully expecting A) a decent payday and B) a great car. Yes it didn't work out but at the same time McLaren is dieing as a force in F1. Lewis chose to leave McLaren because of the new regulations, with McLaren no longer a 'works' team he knew they would continue to struggle whereas Mercedes had an opportunity for a sudden upswing in results. The PU would be king. Nico was hanging on for the opportunity presented by the new regulations and Lewis joined him, they bet on this future and you could argue both won that gamble. LH abandoning McLaren is an interesting choice of words, and I disagree with them. TL;DR = Both have had support getting to F1. Both gambled on Merc coming good.
  11. Problem for the team is, someone has to give. If no one does then they'll fail to finish a lot. Its an unwritten rule of team management that you have to have a guy in the team that will give in first. Nico is first rate at this.
  12. I think he's feeling pretty sorry for himself, not a lot has gone his way. From the start of that race, slip mid-race...to the failure of his new spec engine at Monza. I can't really blame him - Rosberg is very self aware and analytical. He knows his driving hasn't been good enough and that his dreams of being WDC, ever, are fading. It's tough to have your darkest moments on TV.
