  1. Ah! Wish they'd be normal and accept paypal... talk about making it hard to buy Cheers mate for the help. That spoiler would look great on my white Supe. I'll keep an eye out for other designs but will mark that one for more deliberation.
  2. Gosh - been all over the site and it looks like it must be a special order or something. Mmm. Are there any other low level ones out there - I swear there was more of a "flick" looking spoiler available by Bomex but I could be wrong.
  3. hell yes! That would be perfect. Nice and subtle.
  4. Thinking of swapping out my TRD style carbon blade three piece wing for a low level one (making the car a little more discreet baring in mind its a kitted white model) Any ideas where and whom stocks these. Hard to come by now it seems.
  5. Driving along through the winter Ive noticed my 1996 MKIV has developed a slight squeak (audible high pitched squeal) at certain speeds - sounding from teh rear of the car. Had new disks and brake pads a year ago with minimal use so it wont be those - wondering if its the rear wheel bearings? Any advice of what I could be looking at costwise to sort? Also heater has packed up - no damp footwell so maybe a blockage or thermostat issue? Bloody old cars eh? Any advice would be appreciated before I go to my local mechanics...
  6. Spent a few hours fitting this! Done! No problems at all! Thanks guys for the help. Cheers Keron too
  7. May I put my name down for one of these too? Who do I pay?
  8. About to put an order in... Now forgive me for being a pain in the rear but does the unit come with teh cables too? I simply assume that the cables need attaching to the frame of the window? Difficult to imagine what I get in the package yer see
  9. Ah yeh - the other window has the wind noise issue which is a nightmare to fettle to getright... been there! In terms of reattaching the cable to the window assembly: Ive had the motor apart etc understand the way it spools etc but cannot see how the cables attach to the window "frame" - its a bit tight to see properly? I wish there was a YouTube guide for doing this as it would make life sooooo much easier. Good advice guys though - will be putting an order through Keron shortly to get the parts...
  10. Spot on fella- thank you for the tips... Is there a guide anywhere on the web on how to do this? Ive searched the forum to no avail
  11. Cheers chaps. The cable is mashed as its got caught and kinked etc - Im thinking the whole unit will probably be the solution and replace the lot. I think a small plastic clip seems to have broken too butcant see what purpose ithas as the tension of the window is held by the motor assembly winder bolted to the door. Might be a local garage job to fix it if I can get the part ok...
  12. Apologies for being dumb - who's Keron? I must admit after having the cable and winder off and apart it is a little complicated lol Almost had my hand off...
  13. Just had an interesting hour dismantling the drivers side door card and accessing the window motor assembly.... Coming back from a trip the window made some funny noises and refused to go back up so I figured maybe the window had popped out of its runners - on closer inspection it appears the cable it uses to raise and lower the window has become mashed. The motor is fine and switch gear is all good. Just wondering what the best procedure is to fix this - is it a whole motor replacment or can you simply just replace the cable? I think its a Toyota (or local garage job) as I kind of think im making more of a mess of it the more I dismantle bits.... At least I have the window wedged (with a wrench) to stop it falling down (you would think there was a hole that you could poke a screwdriver into to wedge it up at the right level) Hoep someone can suggest what the best fix and potential cost of sorting is?
  14. A few years back there was a potential group purchase of stubby replacement aerial (from s2000?) for the rubbish "windy windy" motor extended telescopic stock aerial. Getting a bit annoyed with it grinding away... Mine needs replacing and fancy a stubby. Did this group purchase ever materialise and if it hasnt is there a solution?
