  2. I don't know what the pro's use now but my old man gave me a DeVilbiss and it was nice to use and was my first gun
  3. It's ok. I will probably be one of the very few sober ones for a change
  4. 2 bloody years already! Well done karolina. I remember the hangover well. Hope to see you in may
  5. From the noises i thought someone was going to make a little man mess in his friends face. small things eh....
  6. Bump on this one. She lost the keys so it's been sat for a while now but it now has some new ones. We have another car so this isn't needed. Will put 12 months mot on aswel. £650 no offers for a super reliable diesel estate car with stacks of history
  7. Nice to see you getting getting back into a supe matey. Looks good and a nice little project.
  8. I would love to pop over again to see your happy faces but i can't say for sure yet as it's going to be a busy year for me with training etc. But if i do i will do an evenings cooking as before ( still yet to poison anyone though ) and i just loved the drive home throwing up into empty coffee cups I will mark it on the calender and will give you call as the events nears. xxx
  9. Most of the el-cheapo ones will be fine just make sure it's big enough for what you need as some parts will take a while if heavy with crud Also the chemicals used will play a big part to how well the bits come out. But a bucket, brush and some good strong degreaser will be alot cheaper though and probably more than enough for what you need to do.
  10. Need i say more ? Been after these for years. The wife also got me some more tanks for diving.
  11. Yes a trick used by alot. But i always dive the richest o2 mix possible. Saves on the headaches if doing 3 or more dives in a day. Downside is cost compared to regular air
  12. The nitrox course (if padi) is a theory only course. It's upto you if you want to do any dives with it at the same time.
  13. I have always said to people if you fancy trying it just go ahead as it may be one of the best things you do. A try dive in a pool range from £10 - £30 and usually last an hour or so but will give you an idea if it's for you or not. Good luck with your advance o/w
  14. It's been a while since i last posted but i thought i would give a bit of an update. I'm following my dream and becoming ever closer to reaching my goals. It has been hard work, lots of studying, exams in and out of the water but bit by bit i can see the end. The New year will bring 9 courses that i hope to complete by december 2012 but will not be worried if i have to roll some into 2013, i just hope my job will be stable enough as i have already spent many ££££'s on kit and courses. I completed my basic open water in march 2011 which is the basics and the first course many take to get into the water. I dive at least 4 days a month either in quarries or the sea if weather allows come rain or snow. Last night i was awarded "most achieved" of 2011 as i'm now doing full decompression mixed gas diving to about 55 meters. And the new year will bring me an unlimited depth rating once i have finished the other trimix (mixed gas Helium) training. The planning for some of the dives can take many days as things have to be right but it's not all work and no play I dive purely for fun and have been lucky enough to see some amazing things all of which have been in the sunny UK. Diving has taken priority over most things in my life but i feel it has to in order for me to reach my goals You also never know when you may need ironphone I love wreck diving mainly in the uk as we have lots of them dotted about the coast. But will start to dive in old flooded mines maybe feb to march time as it's nice to have a variety to stay focused. But when all the hard work pays off and when i have the full uk cave diver cert in my hands i will treating my self to some amazing cave and cenote diving in mexico/Bahamas to see stuff like this
