  1. The electrics are absolutely fine on mine. It did however have a engine change in its life, as i've got the receipts to prove it, not sure why??? I was lucky with my gas conversion, a friend did it, he has his license to convert them and only charged me £1300 cash. However, he's reluctant to do anymore as he's a part time taxi driver for a side income, he finds he gets more money doing that, although i could always ask him if you got one!
  2. Do whatever suits yourself, i had the sup TT and loved it and i still do, i wouldn't hesitate at having another (especially a big single:eyebrows: ) though with changing circumstances prevailing, i wanted something with more space, though i didn't want to lose the toys!!! I've gotta 4.6hse, (see pic) its fully loaded, electric memory cream leather heated seats, fully adjustable air suspension, dipping mirrors when reverse is selected (things like that) harmon kardon sound. loads of things on it to go wrong you may say! but its such a pleasure to drive, totally different to the sup. I now "cruise everywhere" as opposed to getting on the A1 and try and waste any other high performance car on the road. I do miss the power of the sup, but the 4.6 v8 lump in sport mode isn't that sluggish!!! The fuel consumpsion IS 14-20mpg, i got mine gas converted within 2 weeks of buying it, i now get about 240-270 miles to a £32 tank full of gas:more: As i said at the beginning, its you and your missus choice at the end of the day, do whatever suits you's. If you have any further questions, plaease don't hesitate to ask. Mike.
  3. AFAIK income tax is 22% of your wage.
  4. But if you have two cars, you'd have to fork out for the two cars, the kid/s, dog/s aswell, its a lot cheaper running just one car, you'd spend what you'd save on the second car on the kids....if you get what i mean. The new owner is about mid 30's known as Paul, moussy blonde "surfer" type hair. WEA STRONG BARNSLEY AK SUNT LAD!!! Do miss the raw power of the Soop already, and the fuel consumption it gave strangely!!! i'll be gettin a LPG conversion soon though... Like i said, in a couple of years i will undoubtedly be after another performance car, and i'm pretty sure a Single will be right at the top of the list!
  5. Had a beemer, really nice drive, though you don't get all the toys that you do with a RR, well you maybe do, though it'll cost you an arm and a leg on the options list.
  6. I was gonna wait until next year, though with the depreciation rate as it stands i got an offer i didn't want to miss. I'd been thinking about getting a Range Rover for a while:haha: (Yeah i know... Soop/RR - Chalk/cheese) due to me wanting to expand the family, kids, dog etc, and i just needed more room! So i saw one advertised and asked if he would consider a part x, i ended up giving £500 and the Soop for a 1997 Range Rover 4.6hse with every conceivable extra possible (except sat nav). This meant i'd achieved £8500 for the Soop, which in the the current market i was well happy about. The new owner is in Barnsley, so you may see him about, he may even log on here as i left the clubs sticers on the front and rear screens:idea: Just likie to say a big thank you to everyone on here for all the info and guidance that has come my way, and you never know, if i can get the missus to learn to drive....i may be after another one...i'd love a single:woot: I'll still keep an eye on the forum, so laters:Popcorn:
  7. Yeah sorry, i never did this, hope no one objects?
  8. Her's a few, the first one is of the Lambo i saw on the way, tried having a play, but the stock traction wasn't up for it in the pouring rain!
  9. Don't matter i was being a div.. having a moment, sussed it out now, cheers Jake
  10. Still don't get it:looney: I'm Adobe image ready, i press ctrl alt shift and save and "save optimised as" comes up in a window where the image has just been imported from, what do i do then? Cheers:thanks:
  11. Had a great afternoon, thanks to Matt for organising it, some nice motors there. Not bad 7 soops showing, considering the weather. Hope you all got home ok. Will post pics shortly..... Mike.
  12. Everytime i do this i goto image, image size and reduce the width and height in pixels, though its hard to get it within the forums limit of 488.3kb, how else do you resize to ensure you're getting a full photo. Step by step guide would be great, cos i'm not exactly bill gates!!! Cheers folks
  13. So gutted for you, what a bunch of bar stewards, thats some amount of gear they ripped off!!! Like everyone else, dunno what to say..... it makes you sick.
  14. "THIS IS FULLY MODIFIED EXTERNALLY AND DOES NOT NEED ANY ADDITIONS":haha: Retractions is more like it!!!! WTF what a waste of a Supra! Sooooo annoying seeing examples like that, each to their own i suppose:tumble:
