Well We all like a bit of fun at work, this is how we have decided to tease one of the girls and her new monkey lol

We have your monkey!

Any attempts to contact the police or any other authorities will result in serious action being taken.

At present the monkey is unharmed and we assume you wish to keep it that way.

We have provided picture evidence to prove that he is still alive but this can all change!

Demands will be made in due course.

Be aware, trust no one watch your back, you never know who could be next!

lol, we did this. It was gone for 6 months and anyone who went on holiday took the monkey and got pics of it.

It went to canada, maldives, microsoft in seattle, france, germany, all over.

Was funny as fuck.

Thats excellent !!!!

This was sent today:

Demands will be high and costly…

Our first demand is a bag of monkey nuts!

Due to the recent increase on import costs these are of high value on the Mafia’s black market in Columbia.

Delivery instructions will be sent accordingly.

Pose the monkey in front of a few postcards from around the world. If you do it right it'll look like he's already on his journeys even though he's safely tucked up in your bottom drawer.

My IT asst did this to one girl and she was convinced it was one of the other staff away on holiday. :)

You are aware, I hope, that taking someone's property without permission is theft and you'd be open to police involvement and probably dismissal for your employer.

Just a thought....

What a great wind up :d

What about asking for some m&m's but only the green and blue ones or something.

How about if she doesn't give in to your demands then send her this picture to prove you are serious :d

Nope. I'm sure Doug will confirm but, as I understand it, taking the property of someone else without their permission, even if it's just as a joke, is theft.

So is breaking the speed limit. Nobody guilty of that here.

Theft is taking something from someone with the intention of permanently depriving them of it. I'm sure he's planning to give the monkey back at some point as it is only a joke.
However; it is technically classed as taking without consent (TWOC), which has a more lenient sentence than theft but is still illegal.
