Power Meter ID ECU VVTI Speed?

Hi peeps

I have a VVTI and the wire in the harness that the manual (and an article on the forum) said i should wire it to, seems to be the wrong one. When i drive at 25 and press the calibration button, it says "calibration error". I can only assume that means that my orange wire is not connected to the speed wire on the ecu? I have connected it to the following wire on my car. The funny thing is that the MPH to KPH convertor goes nowhere near this wire.

Also, the guys who installed my SBD (won't say who but i've seen people complain about them before) in their infinite wisdom decided to HOTGLUE the controller to my dash and in the process filled up the infrared sensor on my boost controller. Anyone know of a solvent that will remove the glue and not eat the plastic on my boost controller?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mark
