I Had a problem with abs/oil light unit on the dash on the right hand side (you know what i mean. It didnt work as another member pointed out. I knew the enigine is sound but thought best look into it as it may show something if a problem occurs.

So took took top part of dash off and it seemed to be a loose connection. I was convinced that a wire or two had gone near the connector. So i tightened up all the pins in the connector and cleaned them all and still flikering.

Next i stripped doen the display unit itself and couldnt find nothing obvious until i looked real close, turned out to be dry solder joints on the back of the connector, so soldering iron out, old solder off, new solder on and now its perfect.

Also central locking would not work from the drivers door, turned out to be a connector hadnt been connected lol. Everything works. Wahoooooooooooo
