Hi Guys

I cant open my bonnet! When I pull the leaver it just sticks out and if I push i back in nothing happens.

I've tried to force the bonnet open lightly but it wont budge.

Is it possible to reach under the car and pop open the bonnet? If so, can anyone advise how? Does anyone also have any pics of where the bonnet latchis so I have an idea of what I am looking for when I'm under the car?

Also, I'm presuming I'll need a new bonnet pull wire, any ideas where I can get one from?

Cheers

Carina.

PS> Whilst I'm here, the A/c lights only work when I turn the main lights on? Whats going on there?:innocent:

Thats not always an easy one to solve!

Firstly, check the cable is still attached to the level under the sterring wheel. If it is then things will get more complex.

It depends where the wire has become disconnected. Most likely the main cable has snapped away from the block that splits the cable into the left and right catches (Has happened to quite a few people). Its a real PITA to get to, but can be done from under the car once the undertray is removed (Will really need to go on a ramp). If you have an FMIC its impossible unless you can remove the front bumper or lights...
