Anyone got a swimming pool?

As title really.

My parents are looking to get an outdoor swimming pool for use in the Summer. There's kits on the net from about £2500 upwards.

There's more costs to it than that but just wondered if anyone on here has one or ever had experience doing one. There's Block and Liner ones and Panel and Liner ones and I can't see any difference.

If its not going to be covered then I wouldn't bother mate. The old dears have a gaff in Cyprus (this is their 30"x20" pool) and it is bloody horrendous to look after. It needs about 1-hour per day maintenance so if you're in the UK and you live in a leafy area then the pool will be hard work.

The build is fairly straight forward but its the upkeep that can bite you in the arse; especially if its the heated versions as they ain't cheap to run:(

how about indoor? if your gona do might as well b able to use it more than 1 or 2 days a year!
