View Full Version : Damn house buyers!

The people buying my other house have told the estate agent that their buyer has pulled out.

They are apparently still very keen to buy my house - and still want to complete in mid-March - but that seems pretty unlikely considering they don't have a buyer.

Just to top it off - I thought the discounted mortgage rate on my main house finished in May - but I got a letter today saying it finishes in mid-March. So my mortgage will go up in a month (plus the small mortgage on the other empty house) and I doubt the house will be sold this financial year now.

Bollocks.

South African system is better as well... You can put certain clauses and requirements around your offer, but once the offer is accepted, its legally bidding... Even if a better offer comes in, etc.

Only breaking the clause or requirements stipulated could break the contract.

Everything Scottish is better, and I do not mean that in the way of "we are better than England"

as we already now that. :p

Seriously Scottish Law is a lot better, and a lot tougher.

Nope - my g/f's ex was scottish, and he definitely wasn't better. However I may be slightly biased since I do have some issues where he is concerned. He and I really should meet and see if we become friends :twak:
