Thor's V8 Supra In Jap Performance Mag

I have just received the March issue of JP Mag and it contains a superb article on the recently evolved Thor Supra (an NA in its original form), with a Lexus V8 engine planted in it. Peter Betts (Thor's founder), leads on the article and I have to say that he has done a real good job of modding this Supe.

It will cost you and I about £4 - £4.5K 'all in' for Thor to do the work and this will produce an increase of 90BHP over stock NA figures.

A very worthy addition to the Supe family IMO - well done Peter and the Thor gang;)

Im confused then, whats all the talk of 1.2 bar??

Right boys, I have fucked up. The 1.2bar bit was when he was talking about his previous car (GZ) where he ran 1.2 bar.

I'll ammend the article and then stand in the corner:(

Its actually a 90BHP raise over stock NA figures

Eh?

90bhp? 3.0 to 4.7l V8 - over 50% capacity increase and two extra cylinders and that get's you just 90 bhp?

Torque graph would be more interesting I'm sure. Even just 90lb increase seems a bit lame to me for the layout. Might as well go buy a TT... or a V8 with more poke.
