View Full Version : North West Stages Rally 2007 (Blackpool) - 17th Feb 2007
coming up in a couple of weeks is the annual NW Stages Rally in Blackpool
i've been the last couple of years & it makes for a good few hours of fast car action, especially along the lower promenade road, right next to the sea!
full details are here http://www.nwstages.co.uk with the first cars starting at about 9.15am
if anyone fancies it, we could meet up at the usual Morrisons car park about 8am-ish & grab some breakfast at McDonalds, and then head down to the prom after that?
about lunchtime they then have some more racing in the Pontins complex
Sounds like a fun day out, put me as a provisional yes :)

grrr got a rugby match that day. If its cancelled for whatever reason then ill be there.

Tighter than cramp?? lol nah i dont think it costs anything just to watch.
i think you have to pay a small fee to get into the Pontins complex, but i'm not 100%
but the stage along the promenade is definitely free :)

Lol good to hear it, its the only way to be with the amount these cars cost. Slight hijack but may need that lift to Mascrat after all mate if you dont mind. My car is running again but overfueling loads so its booked in at Hyper that monday, no way it will be ready for the night though.

Could have issues!! I've agreed to collect Rob Wild if he's not running. I have a plan though. Shytot has just been on the blower and said he won't have a problem coming accross Wigan and collect you?? We can all then go in convoy.

Nice one. I may still be able to get there another way yet, dropping the car off after work and Stu (who works there) has offered to take me to Mascrat when he does. Will sort something out.

if you're going to take the Supra drag racing, wait for the Elvington opener in March & you'll get alot more for your money & it's nowhere near as far :)
