Do you run a IAT Sensor? And if so where do you have it placed?? I've been reading on the AEM forum and the genral feeling is to avoid heat soak just after the FMIC, but thought i'd ask what people on here are doing.
Also where do you mount your MAP sensor??
I am using the stock IAT with calibrations that I got from TLicense, I have a GM IAT just never bothered fitting it.
My map sensor is mounted near the inlet manifold with some piping going to the same location as the stock MAP sensor, I think its a filter but remember reading in another thread that it also filters out pulses to give a smooth signal.

Ah ok.
I thought seeing as the IAT came with the rest of the kit i bought i'd use it. Maybe i'll double check with the mapper before installing and see what he preffers.
As Wez says, you can just use the stock IAT. If you need the calibration give me a shout and I'll see if I can dig it out.
The reason why the IAT is usually thrown into the kits is that the UK / US specs don't have one, as it's part of the MAF unit.

Nice one, thanks Tony
Just buy the IAT kit form AEM. weld it into the intake pipe pre TB, the stock location suffers from alot of heatsoak. This is IMO, and from seeing much hotter temps as the way the stock log mani is designed
LOL- just read your orginal post.
