Is this reality real or do we really exist on another plane of existence? Something for you boys and girls to mull over

I reckon we're all in some kind of huge experiment - something like an ant farm - and there's someone really big out there laughing their socks off at our strange antics. :D

As long as I'm re-incarnated as the saddle on a womans exercise bike, I dont really give a rabid monkeys left bollock what goes on during the years I inhabit this form of reality.

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here’s Tom with the weather.”

As long as I'm re-incarnated as the saddle on a womans exercise bike, I dont really give a rabid monkeys left bollock what goes on during the years I inhabit this form of reality. I live in a world where marmite mushrooms exist three clicks of a mouse away from split beavers, and my children leave home a couple of blinks after having their cords cut. A world that sparkles under the light of distant suns that died millions of years ago, or a world where jokes are posted three minutes after a tragic personal story, on a car forum that consumes far more of my waking life than I ever spent reading stories to my kids. I exist, but I've no idea why. Theres perhaps no point in my existance, other than creating the existance of others, and even that was a gamble on the part of the maker of this grand plan as my prediliction for the fairer sex was never a guarantee of virility. It would have been easier all round if this reality had been as the saddle on a womans exercise bike from the start.

You're an optimist :D

You can only exist on one level at a time, otherwise your other self would get lost. This is reality ok, the pain of which I felt writing the tax and vat cheques this month!!

on a serious note ; the human mind has real trouble when trying to imagine things beyond the bounds of 'normal' life and general living in a 'normal' environment.

My cousin had a very similar question in one of her psychology exams.

The common requirement of 'wanting' something that 'controls' you such as the matrix, gods, destiny, aliens etc etc. is due to the fact that individuals have problems determining the meaning of their life.

All very deep I know.

The scientific purpose of life is purely "to survive", nothing more, nothing less. But this is not enough for most people and they need extra justifications and 'meanings'.

The above is partly my own opinion and partly from talking with my cousin a while back about her course exams and the typical answers that were being given.

Everyone will have their own views and most likely everyone's will be different. This is humanity.

Now where is all that stuff everyone else is smoking... think I need some !
