toyotasuprauk
Does anyone know what the BHP increase is by putting a hks Super dragger on a NA Supra, the insurance company are asking? They also ask if it was installed before 10/01/03 any reason for this? Its sky insurance BTW. Thanks.
sdavies
I have seen figures quoted anything from +3 to +22 (lol) +3 to 5hp (maybe optimistic) with no supporting mods (decats etc) - possibly? Does anybody dyno their NA's in the UK to confirm individual mods like this?
Max Headroom
AFAIK the increase your looking at would be in the region of 2 to 5 bhp not much more if any
Ian W
negligible mate, i'd tell them none at all. (A) how the hell will they know if you crash anyway? they gonna dyno you're screwed Supra? (B) chances are over the years it's lost as much as you'll gain by putting that one so that's it 'back to standard bhp' if you see what i mean. Ewen
They also ask if it was installed before 10/01/03 any reason for this? If thats the 10th of Jan '03, its a trick question.

I have an RSR exhaust and 2nd decat and I get 220bhp which is factory standard.

toyotasuprauk
If thats the 10th of Jan '03, its a trick question. Why I dont get it? When I put it on I cant say I noticed any difference in performance at all. If anything there was less at lower revs. I noticed the mpg go down though! I'll just say 5 bhp that should be ok. Cant remember if it was installed before 10/01/03 though?
juanchan
I'm with Sky and the "was it installed before xxx" is the date that I started my insurance with them. Check when you first took out insurance with them I would.
