Well yeah, it is free...

I was looking what sat nav packages I could get for my phone and came across this...

It dials up to GPRS to download the maps as required, HUGE language support. It has to be frank a F%&Łking huge list of phones it supports. All that you need is a bluetooth GPS receiver for your phone..

Also has some blog sort of thing which you plot and track your journey's

Not the tidiest interface and does use a GPRS connection to download the details.. So while it is always up to date, if you aren't on a data package, it MIGHT get pricey (I haven't actually checked how much data it sucks down in a go)

EDIT : The GPRS is not used for the entire duration, it is only used to pull down the route plan initially, and some minor updates as you drive along.
