Hi guys, I keep thinking of things to do to my car and with everything buzzing around, i dont actually do anything ! I've come up with an order of evens that Im going to stick to and start the first thing this week. Please let me know what you think. (done IK22 plugs already)

1. FMIC (my smic is knackere) - Is a Greddy 3 Row the best to go for ? Is it easy to fit ?

2. Exhuast System (thinking HKS Superdagger or Nurspec ?)

3. Double De-Catt, with 1.2 Restrictor thingy

4. Walbro fuel pump

5. FCD ?

6. Boost Controller

7. (probably long way off) Single tubby..

I think in this order (based upon progressive mods and safeguarding the engine components during all stages of BPU upgrade: (New SMIC perhaps instead the expense of a branded FMIC perhaps)

1. Walbro fuel pump

2. FCD ?

3. FMIC (my smic is knackere) - Is a Greddy 3 Row the best to go for ? Is it easy to fit ?

4. Double De-Catt, with 1.2 Restrictor thingy

5. Exhuast System (thinking HKS Superdagger or Nurspec ?)

6. Boost Controller

7. (probably long way off) Single tubby..

thanks, already found it however.....

Still confused... MGT do two SMIC's one standard one, one uprated one, both cheaper than CW's. Which is better ? where's the proof ? I've not seen anything concrete for any of them...

I've got a lot of parts to sort and just wish there was a list of "this is the one you want" "avoid this" lol

Im getting nowhere fast keeping procrastinating over it all.

The Miami GT ones are certainly good mate and are far better than a knackered SMIC. I've got a decent Greddy 2-row that's perfect for BPU, but personally, I feel I should of gone for the CW SMIC.

The ducting for the SMIC on the Supra is a work of art and CWs SMIC makes full use of it. I'd spend the extra cash on something that's proven to work very well indeed with no issues whatsoever, and that my friend, is a CW SMIC. :)

For a BPU application a MiamiGT one is more than adiquate.

I have one on my car at bpu level and its fine. Its a standard replacement and for the price, i think andy is doing them at £225 + around 15quid for delivery u just cant go wrong :)

Agreed. As Carbon said, Miamit-GT one will be fine for BPU, but it all depends on what plans you have for your car. In terms of future proofing, I'd still go with a CW SMIC or a decent FMIC with additional ducting - small single + territory. :)
