This isnt a official Blitz car, just one modelled on it. Both the official cars (or the same one) were hardtop.

 

There was the Jap version which had the Red blue and silver decals on. Not sure if that was then replaced with the Green and Gold decals that was in the Max power magazine.

Ah- I've just read it.

 

What I find interesting is that Toyota pulled the plug on the UK in 1996 due to Euro2 emmisions, yet this car is a European 97 car???

 

The more you read, the less this car has anything to do with the Nurburgring cars.

I find it odd that a Euro spec Supra has found its way to North America.. but I think it originates from Canada (where they had a very limited supply), which was then purchased by an American.

 

It doesnt have anything to do with the Ring cars.. its just made from virtually every bit of the Blitz parts bin - apart from the turbo kit.
