Hi there

I am new to the forum. Recently bought a supra. It is an import and I have just been trying to renew my insurance.

The car is n/a and totally standard afaik. However it does have AVS alloys. Can anyone tell me if these came as standard? I let on to the insurer that they were not and now they want a valuation and I seem unable to backtrack. Can anyone give me any info? Are they standard on jdm cars, and if not, what are they worth?

No they wont be standard wheels... we would need a bit more info to give you a ruff price guide, size pics etc?

Thanks for the quick replies. I have spoken to the insurance company again and they were satisfied when I told them you couldn't but them in the UK. They had told me to phone Halfords to find out what they were worth!!! I didn't bother ;)

It did make me chuckle. That was Budget - clearly not a specialist in the performance car field.

The insurance came in at £407 in the end - pretty good I thought?
