No!! The only power difference will be based on engine specification ie whether either 3L N/A or twin turbo or single turbo variants.

its a 5 speed maunal twin turbo i was looking at but wasnt sure if there were any diffrences from the 5 speed to the 6 speed cheers

If its a 5 speed TT then thats more than a bit wrong. The TT only came with a 6 speed or auto as standard (or tiptronic).
think there are a coupke of 5 speed TTs about, CJ was selling one a while ago.....

They aren't standard though!!! Which means someone has done some weird tinkering which would always make me be a bit more cautious about a cars history.

nah defo not standard! But ive been told by a few peolpe that the ratios on a 5 speed are better??

Ratio's better or otherwise, the 5speed box isn't capable of reliably taking anywhere near as much power as the 6speed.
Personally I'd steer well clear of a 5 speed converted TT.
