View Full Version : Promotion at Work
Hi Guys,
Was hoping to get a better bonus rating than what I did, but actually turns out better than I thought.
Management apparently want to give me a more tangible award than just a monetary amount of money and therefore next month discussions are underway to raise my salary by a very nice amount and move me up a level of the pecking order! Good job as I have to pay for mine and Emily's holiday to Mexico soon!
Looks like I can also afford that lovely small single conversion after all in April then ....... :innocent:
Thanks,
Greg
Congratulations Greg

But Greg,
Does Emily know that you had to do some special favours for the boss in order to get the money though:innocent:
Congrats Greg..!!
What do you do for a living??

Lol cheeky git! You're gonna get a spanking if you're not careful Andrew!:p
Thanks for the congrats guys. I work in the Product Development Team for an Insurer. Is quite a complex and challenging role, and I seem to be doing alright at it after only being in the job for six months. :)
Emily does not know I've had to do a few 'extra-curricular' activities in the workplace, but she does know I'm a team player and therefore am happy to take one 'for the team!' ;)
Here's to 2007 and the RAF though!!! LOL.
Greg

Ahhhhh Great! - so you are still joining then. That's top news Greg mate;)
Life in the RAF is like a box of special chocolates Greg - no variety, just full of fudge!
Seriously now - A big well done
Lol. Yes, still going down that route matey.
I figured with all the equipment issues, friendly fire incidents and general military conditions, I'd have better chance surviving in the RAF than the Army!
