silvershark44 Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 Yeah they are reported to have absolutely no feel to them, yet the stopping distance from well over a 100mph is nothing. So I dont really understand how brakes which reportedly have no "feel" to them can stop such a heavy car at such a high speed so effectively. I would suggest that this "feel" factor is probably a lot to do with other stuff on the car such as suspension set up or something and not soley the brakes. kosmic Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 Probably due to the fact that ceramic/carbon brakes needs lots of heat in them to make them bite properly hence why most they may not seem to have much feel, ideal for a track car but not for a road car IMHO.
