Rising Sun Car Show 2007 12/13 May

Anyone from the North West interested in attending this. From what Shytot tells me it has been good in previous years. An opportunity to practice for JAE too ;)

Hi guys, Rising Sun Car Show is back for 2007. We are aiming to be bigger and better this year, but its not possible without your help!

The amount of club space we have availible it would be a shame not too see alll the supras we can there :)

A few details:

The Show is still in final organistion so details are limited so far.

Show Times
Gates Open Saturday 9.30am - 6pm (For general public)

Show Cars and Traders to be in the event and setup by Saturday no later than 7.30am. Traders are welcome from friday at 10am

Activities

Awards will be Presented on both Sasturday and Sunday for the following :-

Show & Shine
Best In Car Entertainment (ICE)
Best Modified Styling
Best Modified Performance
Best In Class
Best Club Stand and Area

Best of Show to be presented on Sunday

Wide range of traders and stuff for the kids
Camping areas availible (Watch this space)
Lots of club area availible.

Cost Of A Ticket To RSCS 2007 are as follows:

- One Day Ticket (Sat/Sun) £6
- Weekend Ticket (Including FREE Camping) - £10
- Under 14's Free

You wouldn't expect many Lancastrians to read the Yorkshire events threads would you, this way I can sneak it up on them and they might not realise they've gone through passport control at Saddleworth moor.

I see no reason why not, I'm guessing that there will be a weekend price, and a single day price.

Edit: I was right prices are:

Hi Zoinks yes its easy to find its on the A638 on the South/east way out of Wakefield just look out for the signs ...there maybe a Convoy over to there if there is anybody going ? doesnt look like theres much interest :search:

Im going to leave it till the day to see if im camping there .....depending on the weather campsite etc etc .......................and depending i get my UK Brakes fitted on without any problems Friday night :blink:

There still isnt much interest in this over here considering its THIS SATand SUN :rolleyes:

Sorry Guys i couldnt get there ive had a nightmare changing putting on the UK Brakes and tryed putting some stainless braided lines on too ended up busting a Hard brake line :( the result NO Brakes aaaaaaaaarghh !! so i,ll have to take it to a garage sometime this week to get it fixed :( Pigged off just alot !!

Sorry Guys i couldnt get there ive had a nightmare changing putting on the UK Brakes and tryed putting some stainless braided lines on too ended up busting a Hard brake line :( the result NO Brakes aaaaaaaaarghh !! so i,ll have to take it to a garage sometime this week to get it fixed :( Pigged off just alot !!

sorry to hear about the probs with yr brakes bud .I went to the show and eventually got to spk to a couple of the guys off the forum just need to get in to the swing of just talking to people i dont know lol felt a bit arkward approuching a group ive never met .It was ok weather was a bit hit and miss just wish there were some stands as i was looking for some new rims.ok though.hope you get your brakes sorted ian .zoinks:rolleyes:

Cheers Zoinks glad you got there gutted i couldnt get across, there is the Masgrat manor meeting on monday get yourself down there and meet some of the guys n Gals theres always a good turn out ..i cant go because of the said brake probs im hoping i can get it in a garage this week to be sorted,

Plenty of Rims to chose from look at some of the Traders on here otherwise see the " for sale" section ...or i got mine fairly local in Bolton

Shame about the club turn out, just me and some other guy.

Loads of members round this sorta area and you would have thought they would support a show what's trying to to get a hold on the show calender, Disappointing but im sure you have you're reasons.

All in all a good basis to be even more popular next year
