I highly recommend Chris Wilson for replacement brake pads, his fast road ones are simply superb on the stock discs. Cheaper too! Spring kit? Do you mean for the handbrake drums? imi-7 Posted January 20, 2007 Author Share Posted January 20, 2007 I have been told I need a brake spring kit (??) as when I brake lightly there is a clunking sound in the rear passenger side.....or maybe you know if someone has had similar sounds and what else it could be? Homer Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 IMO the brake spring kit can only mean the rear handbrake drum springs. I guess it could cause a clonking if the springs are completely gone.... but that would mean your handbrake probably isn't working on at least one wheel. Your only option is Toyota for these, best price will be Steve Manley at Oxford (See members section, if you dont have access, then join up ).
