I could meet up with you guys, I will be coming up from eastbourne, I'm leaving at about 4:00 so I should be at the services by 5:30, well looking forward to it, that reminds me, what radios do you all use?

Yep you could meet Brentwood services...I assume you mean Bibbys?

We would be sweeping past there approx 6.15 - 6.30pm

Still add your names to Convoy list but in brackets put (Bibby's)

If people want to join you at Brentwood that would be good.

Like I say if we leaving Thurrock services at 6.00 - 6.15pm then we would get to Brentwood for 6.15 - 6.30pm
Route to Ace Cafe will be M25, M11, A406

Bibby's is next to Holiday Inn on the roundabout at petrol garage.
Plenty of space there for parking but there is a steep slope so maybe Holiday Inn would be better :)

Meet.... Lakeside, Thurrock Services (M25 Junction 30)

Time.... 5.30pm - 6.oopm so that we can leave no later than 6.15pm to arrive Ace Cafe 7.00pm

Route to Ace Cafe will be M25, M11, A406

I'm just sorting times etc with some mates who aren't members on here. They have a purple Veilside supra, a pink Veilside supra and a Candy Red Chargespeed Supra :d

We're thinking of leaving Colchester around 4pm.

I'll be leaving a little earlier to pic up Tom and meeting them on route.

Well we could be there as early as you like but other people need to finish work etc so tried to set time to please everyone as best possible.
Lui is gonna be at Ace from around 2.30pm I gather to set things up and all

Thats only if I don't hit traffic though, I will kind of need that 30min leway, it's going to be rush hour right when I hit the tunnel, plus I don't know when the others can get there.

sounds good mate.....well its a pretty small service station and cant imagine there being a lot of people in there to be honest, you should see us sticking out like a sore thumb ;)

Yeah, they reckon there may be more snow on the way. Need to get to Peterborough at some point today (after Ace cafe) so if it's looking bad later I may have to drive there earlier and miss the event. If anyone gets any weather updates it would be good. Does look too bad round Basildon area at the moment though

What route are you going?

A13 - A406?
or
M25 then down to the 406 (M11/A1 etc)

Im leaving stansted at about 6ish and really fancied joining a convoy, im not saying hang about for my but if i know which route you're going and what time you're leaving lakeside I can try and catch you up :cool:

So sorry I didn't see this post on time to respond marktheboy but probably just as well you didn't join us as we got a little diverted and didn't get to Ace until 7.50pm.

Sorry to all that were in out convoy that it all went pear shaped but at least we all got there for what I thought was a great meet.

Hope another one is arranged for the summer!!!
