Hi - anyone on here go skiing/snowboarding?

I'm off to live in Whistler (Canada) for 6 months next week and need some insurance. Anyone got any recomendations?

The cheapest I've got so far is £261!! seems a lot but I've never been anywhere like this before

Cheers Ian - Whistler sounds class, I'm really looking forward to it.

I've never even seen a Snowboard let alone used one so will be interesting. :d

Got a few mates living out there already. My only concern is that according to them it's impossible to pull! There's like 10 blokes to every woman. :(

Oh, thanks for the link mate. I have already tried that site earlier but when I tick the Winter Sports box when selcecting insurance I get the following message:

'There are currently no policies that match your criteria. We are currently updating our records to include more types of policy'

Have you used this site before to book insurance?

Nope I got my insurance free through my bank account. It may be worth trying Tesco as they do annual policies off the shelf in stores

Cheers dude, I've found one now for £101.

The one with Tesco was spot on but when I went to book it I noticed it was for multi-trips and not a continuous one. Rang Tesco and they confirmed it wasn't suitable. Thanks anyway.

Whistler here I come! :p :d ;)
