AntzRowe
Seen a HKS exhaust for sale on ebay, anyone have experience with this? How loud is it?
lockys96
nice sounding, i cant really hear mine much when in the car, have to wind down the windows. its great for motorway. its not loud
AntzRowe
would you say its much louder than the stock or not. I want one that is obviously louder than the stock exhaust, nice sounding when I put my foot down, but nothing over the top or boy racerish, if you know what i mean. Guest mk47
more on the quieter side. at idle its slightly deeper than stock and when your pressing it, it has a nice growl to it
AntzRowe
thanks for the info, think id prefer one slightly louder. Is the Blitz NUR spec r louder?

Guest mk47
do you have a tt or na?
Sheefa
I love my HKS Superdragger! It's got a lovely sound to it. Put it this way, my elderly next door neighbour called Nina is about 85 and very nearly completely death, but she hears it quite clearly in the mornings. No complaints though It's got a lovely sound on woot, and I seriously suggest listening to the beauty in Manu mode on an Auto in Second (2) gear off woot, lovely growlish rumble though town! I would highly recommend. If you want louder and more fierce, go for the Boostlogic kit. I heard TrickTTs (Rich) and it sounds the absolute nuts! Expensive though. steb9780
I have one with second de-cat and it's pretty quiet. Going to get the 1st cat taken out after the MOT if it doesn't change I want something a bit louder.

Scooter
not sure which one you are looking at on ebay but i think there is one that is just a back box ie it its not a Cat back system and won't fit the stock middle section either............so it will require a mid section to be made before you could fit it. AntzRowe
mines a tt, does that make any difference in the sound or how loud it is? Also will either fit on is their different ones for both the na and the tt? As i quite fancy one and theres one going cheap on ebay.
R Black
Its only the back box, you can fit it to anything, with the right pipe, TT is quieter i think.
AntzRowe
if its quiter il leave it and get a nur spec i think peeps.
Guest mk47
it will defo be quieter on a tt. all exhausts are louder on n/as and not so much on tts because of the turbos. id reccomend an rsr but thats my opinion as i think they sound better than a nurspec
AntzRowe
whats the rsr mate, never heard of that one before..
Sheefa
RSR stands for Roaring Street Reaper and it's bloody LOUD!
Chiefgroover
dragger is my all time fav on a supra, sounds awesome with both cats out, but not too loud or unintrusive, never drones. It really pays off to have the exhaust joints sealed perfect with it.
