Advice on Optima batteries

The Exide Maxxima's are also supposed to be very good and slightly cheaper than Optima's, again its a deep cycle battery, aimed more at the ICE market, more than heavy duty starter battery.

I have also used one of them, my only complaint with that one was the terminals were not on the correct sides for the Supra. Not a big deal but a bit of a hassle.

why not go for an optima orange top, its a starter battery and has the correct terminal position for jap cars.

you can get one new for around 70 notes

Does this battery fit in the standard J-spec battery tray and can it be clamped with the screw strap thingy?

Are the posts the correct width for the standard cable clamps too?

Ta muchly
