Homer
The HKS Hi-Power silent is a great choice if you're after a quiet one. Its fully stainless and one of the quiestest aftermarket exhausts available. Chris Wilson recommends them so they must be pretty good

Max Headroom
RSR with 2nd decat, quiet as a mouse with the baffle in ................. Mind you I am deaf as a post
D3xt3r
Tanabe Touring is the most quiet 3" one out there. It will still provide power gains but will stay under 93dB. If you buy a big loud one and put a baffle in that wont be really good for back pressure.

They do a manual and electronically adjusted version http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_exhaust_detail.asp?id=251&pageNum=1 http://www.apexi-usa.com/graphics/products/2511.jpg http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_exhaust_detail.asp?id=227&pageNum=1 http://www.apexi-usa.com/graphics/products/2274.jpg If you would like prices please let em know. Chris Wilson recommends them so they must be pretty good The HKS Silent Hi-Power is NOT a quiet one by any stretch of the imagination! After a full decat it's even better, with a burble and growl that wakes up most of the neighbourhood It's a straight-through 3" exhaust, so there's nothing there to keep the noise down at all
Carl
I recently fitted a mongoose exhaust to my TT. It's basicaly as quiet as the original with just a faint increase in tone. I also did not want too much noise. I still have my cats in so it may increase a little but Im pretty sure exhausts dont come much quieter. The car responds & feels much better too with the 3" system. Carl
Chris Wilson
Stock system is quiet and probably a LOT more efficient than a big bling thing with a baffle stuffed up its chuff.
Bobbeh
Veilside Ti is quiet, and has a baffle if needed
