Yes Jim. It's not unfair or wrong to advertise in this way at all. It clearly states it's a nut for sale mate, but he's breaking the car and has parts for sale on request.

 

If someone was stupid enough to bid into the hundreds, or rather the tens, then that's what they are - Stupid.

 

Just a fair and easy way of getting attention, advertising the parts, but also ensuring the buyer knows that if they bid, a nut is all they'll get. :)

The big difference between this and other ebay sales is that the heading for this is VERY clear...

Not claiming anything else... ebay doesn't have a function for selling each indivdual bit really and the selling fees would be something silly. The seller is certainly up front about what it is and mentions it numerous times that it is the nut.

 

Maybe not 100% the correct way to use ebay, but doesn't leave anything to doubt.
