Hi

I have just bought a top secret front from a member on here on its great although i cannot seem to get the front indicaters to fit in the whole, there appears to be two holes- one either side, left and right but not one for the bottom prong and bolt. Do i have to remove this prong? if so, how? as i cannot even seem to get the indicater on with this sticking out.

Some of the "How To's ...." on here for clear front indicators say you have to drill a 3rd hole

that would be fair enough but i still couldnt get it in it i did, does anyone know hoe the progs/bolt arms are fitted? or itt have to get them cut off!!

IIRC some of the top secret bumpers dont allow fitment of the facelift indicators.

its for pre facelift indicaters- i have them, ill just go to a metal man and have them cut off i think.

Jesus Vic, I wouldn't fit my own bumper because I suck!

Good choice with the TS, my choice for sure in April time too. :)

Did the previous owner have the bumper indicators installed, or not? A little play is probably all that's needed, but maybe an idea to get a bodyshop to fit just in case things go wrong with the metal grinder.

Hey Greg!

The previous owner i think has had the indicaters fitted in his new bumper and a bodyshop did it for him.

I think ill have another go tomorrow!

You can rip the metal prongs out with a pair of pliers if you heat up the plastic a bit first, then you can always glue them back in later.

Hey Voo, the ones that were in the bumper are currently sitting in my new bumper, they only have the 2 bolts at the back, not one on the underside. The ones i sent you were a spare pair i had and must admit i just assumed they would only have the 2 bolts as well as i thought only the facelift ones had the 3rd bolt. You can either cut the bolt off which isnt a difficult job or if you are happy with tinted front indicators then ill swap you for the ones that i have fitted at the moment. Ive got some facelift ones waiting to go in anyway so no problem for me. Let me know what you want to do.

Glad it arrived finally anyway.
