Developed Misfire

Hi all, i seem to have developed a misfire when the car is cold.
Only happens when its idle but then its like 1 whole cyclinder is not firing, (you can see a dip in the rev needle as well everytime it misfires) revving the car is fine nothing wrong with that at all.

After you have driven it for a little while this misfire goes away.

Also the idle speed seems a little low its currently 500rpm and i dont know if i am being paranoid but it just does not seem to pull as well as it did.

Any ideas ?

you see i think its the plugs - but i wanted to see if it was the general consencious and there was nothing a little more evil lying under the bonnet.
