quick uk brake question

the garage im going to attempt to fit my uk brakes with has advised me that by changing just my front brakes and not upgrading the rears will cause problems in the future because something along the lines of too much weight being pushed to the front and not being balanced out..

so is this true? it seems logical of course but many of you guys tend to just upgrade the fronts.. will it cause me problems to leave the jspec in the rear for now?

Yes it true, in theory.

In practise it'll be fine and loads of us do it, me included.

CW will say it's all wrong but I've had UK fronts and j-spec rears for the last 30,000 miles without any problems at all.

ok cheers mate. i guess itll be ok for a bit then until i get some uk rears. i dont do more than 12,000 miles a year anyhow :)
