didnt on mine, was a waste of £10.
Try to duckt tape the top ones (or the lower ones) to add extra padding and minimize the possible gap. Put a good 10 layers or so on there and take a drive.
Does it change the rattle? -then it probably is the top ones... An easy way to fix, if you dont want to do the hassle with removing the top ones, is to add some washers under the bottom rubbers..

slack off the ones youve fitted , and lift them up then re tighten see if that helps
Yeah, WD40 the rubber surfaces.
Ok, double sided foamy stuff has been placed in between the top 'rubbers' and the hatch to pad it out alot more. Bottom rubbers have been raised everso slightly, i initally tried getting them as high as posible, i will post my findings when i take it for a spin. Hatch is harder to close which is a good sign i suppose :)
Could it be something else, ive got a suspension rattle which sounds very hatchy.

I cut some little squares from an old mouse mat and super glued them to the rubbers on the bootlid. I had already replaced them and the bottom ones but it made no difference!
They made the boot quite hard to close at first, but now they've been squashed down after a few weeks in there and its not so bad.
Eliminated the squeaking 100%
Right, that didnt work :(
Time to take all the shit out the back and see what that does.....

I have got new bottom bushes, how the hell do you get the bottoms ones off. The screws seem like they are super glued in. Anybody else had problems with un screwing them if so what was the solution ???
I have almost rounded one of the screws off:( :( :(
Get a facelift bootlock, they pull the boot in a little further and you get no rattle.
Downside is that you end up not being able to open the boot properly using the internal release.
