my engine management light has come on the right hand side of steering wheel anyone know much about this or is it a dealership job costing 50 quid an hour to find that normaly takes them 6 hours.:search: :Pling:

i have no blinking light only constant yellow engine light have asked question but cant see how blinking light can help unless my bulb has gone

no dont know were plug is found one under steering wheel and are they numbered is there a pic of were i stick bare wires

This ones in the engine bay matey ;) Look at the pics.

On the twin turbos it's near the big throttle body thingy-ma-jig (i'm sure someone will gives its correct name something like TCMS or something)

Just a black block with a cap on top that reads "diagnostics".

Short out the two pins as directed E1 and TE1 i think it was and switch on the ignition - count the blinks the engine warning light does and this relates to the codes in the chart provided in the post above! (click error codes if you already haven't)

it was off next day then an hour later it was back on seems to come on after a while and go off over night will try the short thing out and turn on ignition but havent seen no blinking lights yet.:Pling:

dont worry it stores the codes so unless you reset the ecu or disconnect the battery it will give you a code if one is in there!

You won't see any flashing lights until you do the paper clip thing.
