Okay, I'm busy playing around with SolidWorks, purely for fun, guess I've got to move off paper eventually...
Trying to do something very simple to start... a tube of 25mm X 25mm 16SWG.
Okay, I've created the rectangle in sketch, used the smart dimensions to make sure the sizes are 25mm by 25mm
Next step is to extrude it, which I've done to the correct length of 318mm, no problem there....
When I try shell it, it shells it, but leaves the back face on so I have a hollow tube effectively with an end on it.
How do I get it be a completely hollow tube...
I guess the 2nd part is, is there anyway of making this a re-usable part where the only bit I can change will be the length?
Thanks
