Yeah I think thats the problem with mine (Trish) she thinks I will hit the roof if she damages it, but the truth is I know it wouldn't be her fault, she is a very safe driver

Yep, that's the same reason here too Pete. She also hasn't got a clue where the bonnet, sides and rear start and finish so as I said before: Two hopes;)

Sexist thread LOL!
But I wouldn't let my boyfriend drive it...
Only on special occasions ie dropping him at the pub/driving him home drunk.
Whenever I get asked 'will your wife be driving' at insurance renewal time, it goes along the lines of.....
Er, only if I lose both legs, both arms AND have drunk too much :D
Actually, I'm gonna start a similar thread - hold on.

She's driven it a total of 3 miles since i got it nearly 2 years ago. I think the look of terror on my face put her off :D

My Girlfriend well fiance drives the soop as much as I do, she loves it :d even though its my car shes the main driver on the policy because it works out £400 cheaper (even though we are the same age and iv been driving twice as long with the same no claims  ) but she loves it that much she wants one of her own
my girlfriend doesnt drive
Are you going to teach her to drive when she's 17?
:D
I voted yes, although I don't have a girlfriend or a wife :innocent:

No way, not in a million years!!
She drove it once and asked me which one was the brake pedal as we were reaching a corner!! Never again!
No way, she thinks the MX5 is fast:blink:
My girlfriend drives it quite a bit, but only when I'm in the car as well and has to put up with me moaning and wincing. She's badgers me to drive it every time we go anywhere in it and never ever offers to drive her car anywhere lol.. (Rover 25 by the way.. )
I drive Keith's, he drives mine. Even get to drive my brothers as well :)
If there was a lady in my life I'd probably have to say no. I was nervous enough letting my Dad drive it, and I know he's a pretty good driver!
My wife is 4 feet 10 inches. Not enough of her apendages interface at any one time with crucial controls required for safe operation, and her line of sight is around 15 degrees above the dashboard horizon, so no.

yes my wife drives the supe, i think she is a good driver, she had it hit when i was in Iraq to when i first got the car so she was in the bad books for a while but she said it was done in a car park and not her fault. she takes care of it to and ive had no problems with her in the car in 3 yrs of ownership, she gets scared when i get the arse end out still but i guess thats just natural if your not in control of it
Actually, my missus liked the last one but I never took her out for a spirited drive. She doesn't like how powerful this one is. I also ballsed it up one day, took her out in the MR2 and came off a roundabout sideways - she claims to have 'nearly broken my wrist' as she tried to grab onto something urgently  Plus hates boob jiggle from the coilovers :D
Plus hates boob jiggle from the coilovers :D
boobs jiggle is great, lol
My wife will normally drive anything when i first got my auto sup about 400bhp she started racing in it within 4 minutes LOL cause someone was trying it on, sometimes she is worse than me. Now got the manual with more bhp but she doesnt drive it much because of the uprated clutch its either on or off and she doesnt want to stall it in middle of town, but i got no problems with her driving it an i have told her we will go out an practise the clutch a bit.
My missus actually owns the supe but only because it will be cheaper to insure it in her name. But yeah i will defo let her drive it but not down to the local bloody asda like she thinks.
She'd like to more often than she's allowed. ;)
