Sheefa
Hi guys, Getting a little annoyed at the dingy, low light green glow from my dials and component switches now and wondered what the best way forward is for refurbing the dash. Thought about some new dials perhaps like these or similar (any links to others appreciated) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/93-98-Toyota-Supra-Turbo-Plasma-White-Glow-Dials_W0QQitemZ140071465307QQihZ004QQcategoryZ72215QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ...............maybe a dash kit, or retrim and change in the LEDs behind buttons if this is even possible? Thanks Greg
R Black
I think you will find they're for a left hooker, there are similar products available though i.e. http://miami-gt.co.uk/store/product_info.php/cPath/21_46/products_id/401 these might suit your needs. You could also do the blue dash mod, which looks fab. http://www.internetwork.org.uk/led/led.htm

Sheefa
How hard was it to do the blue led mod guys? Just time consuming or quite fiddly and annoying? Thanks, Greg
Steviekid
Just time consuming or quite fiddly and annoying? Both. The most awkard bit is trying to run the glo-wire behind the buttons. I gave up in the end and just used glass paint to go over the original backlight bulbs instead.
Sheefa
And this works Steve? Does it have the same effect or does it still have a green tinge to it mate?
ChrisSZ
Speak to Heckler mate - he does the blue dash conversions and is top-notch (good bloke to)

Sheefa
Can someone post a link to those TRD dials please? Can't see any images of Miami GT site. Also, Mark RZ, how did you retrim the dash mate? With a stick on kit off ebay and the like or new panels entirely? Thanks, Greg

squiffy
heckler sells the kit on an exchange basis, so you get all the parts already converted, or you just change the lens. then just send back yours looks ace!
