would these be alrite for the front and back...sorry i know know about ice...but just wana nice sounding system
put some 6x9`s in the rear enclosures they sound really good imo
Mine is very subtle:
Pioneer DEH-P1Y (aka DEH-P80MP)
'lockys96' custom sub enclosure
JL Audio 10w3d2 Sub
JL Audio e1200 Amplifier
Focal Polyglass 165 V2 (Front)
Focal Access 165 CA (Rears)
eDead and Dynamat (30 sqft)
All speakers live behind standard cloth covers for an OEM look, the amp is hidden where the OEM autochanger used to be and the sub box is subtle compared with some :)
It's not a huge bass setup but it's nice. Matt Harwood does some excellent deals on the Focal stuff, brackets are available for the front doors if you do a quick search on here.
I was lucky enough to pick up most of my bits used so saved a fortune, it's always worth keeping an eye out for the audio fans upgrading the latest bits and pieces :)
cheers for your input guys....
mine wont be that subtle, but should sound good...
jvc headunit
alpine type s 6.5 component for fronts
alpine type s 6.5 for the rear
alpine type r 12" sub for rear
720 jl audio amp for sub
650 lightening audio amp for the speakers
so for a basic install upgrade...i need
headunit
6.5 front speakers (need template)
6.5 rear speakers
amp
sub (10"/12")
is this correct?
Yeah but you might want to try the setup without the sub first, depends how much bass you want, 6.5s can move quite a bit of air and can be quite effective on their own if amped.
you not got the standard sub then?
