O.K guys sorry about the delay.
The event is now Booked for the 11th of March at ceasors nightclub by the NEC birmingham. I have marked an area for supra's and a club stand.
Have also booked a little extra called burnout XXX to be held in the club after 8 pm for people who want a bit eXtra LOL.
Would be good if we can arrange some convoys from different areas.
looking at sorting out an event called BURNOUT 2007 in Feb near the NEC anyone interested ? It will be like a mini JAE.
1) licenced Club and BBq :thumbs:
2) enough room for 500 cars ;)
3) burnout comp :blink:
4) Wet T'shirt comp :search:
5) Best ICE install :Pling: :lalala:
etc etc.
The event wont take place unless we can secure 300 cars, and is on private land so no police telling you off LOL
Will put more info when its more definate, but I need to know how many are interested ASAP
Looking at entry costs of £5 per car (4 people).
Prize money and gifts will be given for winners of competitions.
There will be room for camping (if its warm enough)
surely people wanna shake those xmas blues LOL

There is a nightclub on the premises that will be catering just for car enthusiasts. Camping is an option if people wanna stay over.

I'd be interested as well, but on the camping side of things (ie with a tent before any smartarses say anything *grin*)... Won't be in the supra, but rather the people carrier since I'll bring the kids if they are allowed.

We are looking at starting at 12pm until late ! the venue is a place called ceasor's and i will post the address today ! im sorry i havent been keeping you more up to date. yes thats the one guys. sorry been really busy and just got back from london and have the trophies and T shirts sorted.
catagories are

There is a convoy leaving from my garage SWZ @9am sunday morning and will be stopping in cribbs causeway macdonalds to pick up a few stragglers and then on to the venue for 10:30 ish.
If any one is interested in gettin in the convoy your more than welcome.
Directions for you guy's
As well as being easily reached by road, CEASARS is easily reached by rail, both Tile Hill and Berkswell Stations are only a few miles away and by air, Birmingham International Airport is within 5 miles. Local Taxi and Hotel information can be found under club info.
M6/M1 South - M6 junction 4. Take A446 south for 1.5 miles turn left onto A452 6.3 miles towards Warwick. Follow the A452 through Balsall Common and over the B4101 traffic lights. Less than half a mile past the traffic lights you'll see the sign for the club on the right hand side.
M42/M5 - M42 junction 6 take the A45 1 mile towards Coventry take the A452 5 miles towards Warwick. Follow the A452 through Balsall Common and over the B4101 traffic lights. Less than half a mile past the traffic lights you'll see the sign for the club on the right hand side.
M40 - M40 junction 15 take A46 for 2 miles towards Leamington Spa. Turn left onto the A4177 for 7.7 miles Turn left onto A452 for 0.4 miles towards Sutton Coldfield Ceasars is on your left handside at the very start of Balsall Common.
M1 North - M1 junction 17 onto the M45 which becomes the A45 .After 16 miles turn left onto the A46 towards Leamington Spa for 4.3 miles. Turn right onto the A452 towards Sutton Coldfield for 5.1 miles. Ceasars is on your left handside as you enter Balsall Common.
Head down the short drive until you reach the carpark!

Didn't hang around too long. Was probably there 20-25 mins. The surface was very very bad, not the best road to drive down to get there.

Always good to meet other jap car owners, though not good to hear the scraping sounds coming from my veilside front bumper and skirts :wtf: :blink: being grated and sheered off by potholes, meteorite craters, a varied selection of crevasses and crumbling (but still lethal) speed bumps, :( then the indignity of parking the rear in mud :faint: (after a morning spent washing/detailing the soop) then there was the gravel pit to go through to reach the very small parking area.....:search:

sorry about the venue guys they were meant to be covering the carpark with tarmac. To be honest the whole day didnt go very well start to finish and would of liked to come to the pub with you guys but my zed was dead and had my hands tied. Would of liked to talked to you all. You bought the best cars there and would of got the best car at show trophy if the meet went to plan. Well maybe i will talk to you all soon at japfest !
Ah sorry to hear it didn't go too well guys. Glad I didn't come then, but like you said, it's always nice and would of been nice to meet you lads and put faces to names. :)
