Will be there, looks quite a big meet, from the tatsu website.
I'm up for that - though I do have work the next day.....
If it's as big as the video suggests I might have to leave early :(
I will be there also he he
HAve to make sure I turn up to that one in my NON Jap car LOL.
Jody Maybe Russ would like the trip too?
Typical. I get the new toy and the when the 1st meet is palnned, I will be away! I start back on the 10th so will be away for 3 weeks.
I suppose thats the crap thing about my job having a couple of weeks on, a couple off...
Oh well, I am sure I will attend someday in the near future...
Good luck with the hijack, (assuming you can beat the 76 cars attending? ;) ).
Be good to see you there Jody, should be a few people you already know. :)

If we meet at the Magor Services M4 - J23A we can all leave from there. Over the new bridge, hook a right and sort of around that bit.... We could pull in once on the M5 to pick up Jody or meet him there.
Just the timing to work out. Whats best for everyone?

Bollux, forgot about this too, Told the misses i would take her out. I will try and get out of it tonight. :D
Well, the tatsu people are meetin at the Gordano Services (Junction 19 M5 Motorway - portishead) for 7-8pm, so I reckon from the magor services it cant be much more than 20 minutes or so to J19 M5.
All depends if we want to be early or not.
How about meet at Magor for 7ish, aiming to leave by 715 to reach Gordano for roughly 730ish depending on how spirited the driving gets!

This just in from the Tatsu Site:
**IMPORTANT**
We have been in contact with the police today, as last year they suggested it would be a good idea to keep them informed when a big gathering like this is happening.
They are happy for us to hold the meet, but know the route we will be taking so expect to see a lot of police along the way. On this note, please could everyone drive within the law and be sensible, we will be drawing enough attention to ourselves without driving recklessly.
The route we will be taking is:
*From Gordano services, onto the M5 heading northbound.
*Leave M5 at junction 15, join M4, signposted London
*Leave the M4 at junction 19, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M32, (signposted Bristol)
*Leave the M32 at junction 1 (signposted Ring Road), then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4174 (signposted Ring Road, Kingswood, Frenchay)
*At Bromley Heath roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4174 (signposted Ring Road, Bath A4)
*At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4174 (signposted Ring Road, Bath A4)
*At Lyde Green Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A4174
*At The Rosary roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4174 (signposted Kingswood, Warmley A420)
*At Dramway roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4174 (signposted Ring Road, Bath A4

It's not as complicated as it looks!
Alternatively, go to www.theaa.com
from Gordano Service Area to BA1 3NB
And print out the directions.
Hi guys
Look forward to seeing you on Friday - when you enter Gordano Services please be aware of the rather vicious speed hump, slow and steady should see you okay!
It's gonna be a big meet so please take care!
Be good to catch up with some of you guys!;)

Should be interesting!
Police, sensible driving, speed humps...
Looks like i'm going to have a late night afterall.....
Cameras ready?
Hello
There is one speed hump!:p
Also, the need for keeping within the legal speed limits and behaving ourselves is for the good of the Club and the safety of its members and the members of the public!
The Meet is also attracting a fair bit of attention on other forums so we don't want to put future meets in jeopardy!:)

Ga.
...Also, the need for keeping within the legal speed limits and behaving ourselves
I don't think my car can keep within the speed limit without stalling, and as for behaving myself.... :innocent:
Sorry you can't make it Gareth. You sure it's flu and not depression after the Cardiff City performance

I'll post the same as I did on a cruise site that had this meet posted on:
Yes, this is for Jap cars only and the police have been informed so will be present.
ANYONE turning up and acting like a c**k, jap car or not, will be reported and any video evidence handed over, (as there were a few last year).
This is for the good of my club and the car scene.
Alex B
Just to let you know, as I'm sure you'll manage to behave! ;)

Hi Alex, Just got back.
Shame we didn't meet up bu there were so many there you must have been delighted.
Did I behave myself... well I think I may have strayed a tad but in comparison to most I reckon we were like a bunch of monks.:innocent:
Anyway thanks for sorting it out... I still have the grin on my face and hopefully nothing went wrong enough to prevent a repeat next year.
Climax of the night was Chenco9 leading downimpact and me into a housing estate on route and when we tried to turn around, there was another load of Jap cars who had followed us in there
Respect to Jody Chris and Mike as well as the Honda boyos for a great night out.

There was about 10 in total, with a couple not realising that parking with other supe's would look better
Sory Jon, don't know why I decided to call you chris all of a sudden!
Great fun coming home.... I am waiting for our letters from the cops after crossing the Bridge back into Wales in Red Arrows formation. LAst night was Best fun I've had in the Supe so far.... it really is great to drive like the cyclists do in tour de france. also fun to catch up with the Skylines and Supes in Bristol city centre... in case you are thinking that I really had a great idea about going home that way.... I admit I missed the turning to stay on the ring road earlier. That kind of night though, everything was perfect throughout....
Still smiling even this morning!
SAnta Pod in Feb, can't wait and even got the missus permission (for the day not the overnight stay!!!!)
I'm really pleased you had a good time, sorry I didn't get to speak to anyone, at the big meets I spend most of my time worrying about what could go wrong!
Alex B
I had a good time last night too!
Would have thought there would be better/more lighting but minor point.
People didnt have to follow me for a U turn - I was following the wrong modded car!!
Anyway, still got us there eventually ;)
Good turnout by the way guys - look forward to the next meet!

Just blame that yellow prelude for leading us astray. That was a most amusing moment :rlol:
Mike you must have better pics??
The problem we have is finding somewhere we can park 100+ cars and not upset anyone, last year we met at Longwell Green in the underground carpark, worked a lot better until we ran out of parking spaces and were asked to leave by security!
Any suggestions of a better lit meeting place will be very welcome :)
